Mother Nature can be your best friend or your arch enemy. Anything that is planned for an outdoor activity is subjected to Mother Nature’s whims. Golf obviously is no exception. Fall golf can really screw up your days schedule by a little something called a “Frost Delay”.

The trouble with frost delays is that no one knows when the frost will melt. It could be very quick or a couple of hours. The staff in the pro shop can’t be of assistance here either because they’re guessing also. It’s also their jobs to try and keep you there and dangle that carrot of “we’re going to check things out in 15 minutes”. I can tell you this, 15 min. can seem like an eternity.
